I am pretty sure everyone has heard the story (or some version of the story) about Mairi's birth. I still need to write her birth story (next on the list after updating the blog). In summary labor started in the morning, progressed through lunch, waited until the hospital told us to come in, walked out to the car in the drive to head to hospital and instead of getting into the car, Mairi came out. We are so grateful for her health and that everything went so smooth. Marc performed amazing under pressure! These pictures are from her first few weeks and all the wonderful visitors we had, Grandma and Grandpa Shirk, Nana, Papa and Aunt Carol, Aunt Kelsey and Uncle Will and Aunt Margery. We loved having you all!
