2 weeks old
Thomas is 2 weeks old!! At his two week appointment he had grown 3/4 of an inch and gained 1.5 oz from his birth weight. He is a long skinny baby at 90% for length and 20% for weight. Thomas is also quite advanced (or at least I think so) and is tracking. He loves his little lion toy that crinkles. Grandma and Grandpa Shirk left this weekend. It was great having them and we will miss the cooking, baking, laundry and extra set of hands that they provided. Grandpa Shirk commented on how much Thomas had filled out and changed in just a few days. It is hard for us to notice though because we are with him so much. Thomas has also figured out that at night time you eat and go back to sleep and daytime you can be awake for playing. Yeah!!! I hope that continues. He is still completely adorable and we can't stop kissing him and loving on him :)

1 week old
Thomas was one week old on Friday. Time is flying by already. The first night home was a bit rough but every day has been getting better as we figure each other out. Highlights of his first week are that Thomas got his first bath (which didn't piss him off as much as I thought it would), it snowed in Houston, and he had his first pediatrician appointment (he was a rock star). He is super cute and we can't stop holding him. More pictures here

39 Weeks
I don't think I need to put a percentage in. I am almost done!!! This has been a big month, we moved into my 900 sq ft bungalow, had a great engagement party for Kelsey and Will, Ned ran away, got hit by a car and was found and we are days away from the due date! About two weeks ago I started to get some pretty uncomfortable back pain otherwise known as sciatica. I have been working from home and next Monday is my last day at work which is very exciting. So now we just need to put the car seat in the car, pack the bag, put the stroller together and wait. Pictures are from the engagement party, my birthday and 39 weeks and some Ned.
